Margaritaville at Sea Islander Daily Schedules (4-day)

Several cruisers asked us to post the daily schedules from our sailings on board Margaritaville at Sea Islander. Below, we’ve include the schedules for Islander’s 4-day itineraries. We also highlight some “don’t miss” activities on each of the days to help you plan. While this post includes Margaritaville at Sea Islander Daily Schedules (4-day), you can also check out Islander’s 5-day itineraries to see how those differ.

These schedules will give you a good idea for some of the events hosted on board. With that said, your schedules, events, ports/sea days, and times WILL vary. Please refer to your Islander Cruise News for the most current information related to your sailing!

Day 1: Embarkation

Our check-in time was 10-10:30am. We arrived to the terminal a little earlier and made it right through security without any issue. At check-in, we were surprised to learn our room had been upgraded to a suite; sweet! Boarding was super efficient and we were on the ship just after 10am!

Because we were on so early, we had to wait a bit before the food venues were open, but that was ok. It gave us time to explore and take pictures! In fact, exploring the ship is a definite don’t-miss Day 1 activity! Some more Don’t-Miss activities: Muster Drill and then the 5 O’Clock Somewhere Sail-Away Party up on Deck 9. Throughout the evening there’s live music across the ship to check out. And don’t miss the comedian in the main theater.

Day 2: Day at Sea

Our second day on this voyage was a day at sea. We took advantage of everything there was to do on board. Highlight for your sea day: Don’t miss the Cruise Director Trivia. This trivia is for everyone – and it really is anyone’s game! It was so much fun! During the day there’s live music, mini golf and pickleball tournaments, pool games, scavenger hunts, movies, charades, bingo, and so much more. We laid out by the pool and enjoyed drinks and a Cheeseburger in Paradise. At night, don’t miss more live music, karaoke, the magician in the theater and the Quest for the Lost Shaker of Salt (18+, no photos please). If you really want to spoil yourself, check out the St. Somewhere Spa for the ultimate relaxation at sea!

Day 3: Cozumel

We booked the Deluxe Beach, Sail & Snorkel through Margaritaville at Sea and it was SO MUCH FUN! You board a catamaran and sail out to a snorkel spot where the fish were aplenty. After snorkeling for about 45 minutes, you get back onto the catamaran and enjoy margaritas, beer, or soft drinks before making your way to a beautiful private beach to soak up the sun. Such a great day in port! When we got back, we still had time to do some free tequila tasting before getting back on the ship.

Once back on board, there’s lots to do. Trivia, live music, name that tune, and karaoke to name a few of the evening’s lineup. We say don’t miss Parrot Pete Meet & Greet for a fun picture and the Acrobatic Show (it’s amazing). We also recommend the 80’s Dance Party as that’s always a good time.

Day 4: Day at Sea

Like every other other day of the cruise, there’s so much to do on your final day at sea! There’s another edition of Cruise Director’s Trivia with all-new questions! Another activity on the schedule not to miss: Salute to Heroes. It’s an awesome event that honors all those that serve our country. It’s definitely an event that’s extra special. There’s more live music, more bingo, more trivia, and football playing across the ship. At night, don’t miss the stage show Conky Tonkin’ At Sea. It’s one of our favorites! But don’t let vacation end early; head on over to the night club for one last celebration with DJ Craigmatic.

Bonus Item: QMN Speakeasy

One activity not listed in the schedule is the QMN Speakeasy. While this is an upcharge activity, we consider this a don’t-miss when sailing on board Margaritaville at Sea Islander. It’s an amazing experience that really digs deeper into Jimmy Buffett’s life, legacy, and music. Also, the Speakeasy features unique cocktails that you can only get in this location. We think it’s worth every penny and plan to introduce those joining our First-Ever Group Cruise to the space in 2025!

Note: You can only schedule QMN once on board and spots are extremely limited, so reserve on Day 1 if you’d like to check out this activity.
