There’s a new cheeseburger at sea – and this one has its own song! Jimmy Buffett’s Cheeseburger in Paradise was a hit for the singer and had people lining up at Margaritaville asking, “Where do I get this burger?” So, the brand set out to make a cheeseburger that lived up to the legendary singer’s song. Now you can get your own Cheeseburger in Paradise on land – and at sea! Check out our Cheeseburger in Paradise Review on Margaritaville at Sea and let us know if you’ve had one.
Where can I get a Cheeseburger in Paradise at sea?
We’ve got some good news for you: When Margaritaville at Sea launched their first ship Paradise, it launched with Cheeseburger in Paradise. Fast forward to the brand’s second ship Islander, and this fan-favorite venue made its return. That means you can find Cheeseburger in Paradise on both of Margaritaville at Sea’s ships.
Check your daily schedule for open times, but the venue is typically open for lunch at noon and stays open late in the day until 6pm. That means you can get a burger for lunch, another one for a late afternoon snack, and another one for your pre-dinner meal. Remember, cruise calories don’t count*!

How much does a Cheeseburger in Paradise cost?
If you’ve cruised post-COVID, it seems that most things now come with an additional cost. But this is something we LOVE about Cheeseburger in Paradise on Margaritaville at Sea: It’s included in your cruise fare. That’s right, you don’t have to swipe your cruise card at this delicious dining spot. And all those amazing toppings? Yup. Those are included, too! Pile your burger (or those fries) up as much as you want and it won’t cost you anything. Well, maybe your pride if you tap out early and can’t finish your creation…
Our Cheeseburger in Paradise Review on Margaritaville at Sea
If you haven’t guessed it yet, we’re BIG fans of Cheeseburger in Paradise! We have this whole page on our website dedicated to the burger spot if you have any doubt. In fact, we’ve said it multiple times, we believe Cheeseburger in Paradise RIVALS the other big burger brand at sea.
Now, before we get any hate mail to cheeseburger@thiscruiselife.com (yes, that’s a real address), we believe there’s room on the ocean for multiple burger spots. We enjoy that other joint too. But Cheeseburger in Paradise feels less greasy and leaves us feeling less bloated when we indulge.
Your mileage may vary, but we actually prefer Cheeseburger in Paradise. Don’t get me wrong, we’ll still indulge on a burger at that other joint, but given the choice, we’ll happily sing Jimmy’s cheeseburger tune any day of the week.
Oh, and I can’t talk about Cheeseburger in Paradise without talking about the seasoned fries and the toppings bar! We love to customize our cheeseburger (and our fries) with pickles (Mark), onions, lettuce, tomato (Rocky), mayo, ketchup, mustard, and more at the toppings station. Don’t miss this final step in your epic Cheeseburger in Paradise creation!
