Carnival goes Italian

This post will be short and sweet, if that’s even possible for me. Today, Carnival Corporation announced the transition of two ships from Costa Cruises, Costa Venezia and Costa Firenze to Carnival Cruise Lines.

Both ships are part of Carnival’s Vista-class in terms of size and capacity. Their interior layout varies slightly, and the most notable difference is the Italian influence when it comes to the inspiration of both ships

Carnival Venezia is scheduled to enter service in the United States in Spring 2023, whereas Carnival Firenze will enter service in 2024. The sister duo will go into dry dock prior to the transfer of service, though it has not yet been announced what changes will be made. Carnival has committed to maintaining the fun Carnival experience with Italian flair on both ships when they make their debut.
